Moving to Reston!

Reg and I have found a wonderful little condo to rent in Reston, VA. It has two bedrooms, two baths, a nice renovated kitchen, a washer and dryer (you don't know how much we have missed this), and a dishwasher! Now, Reg does not have to be the dishwasher. The condo is located right across the street from Reston Town Center, if you are not familiar with this, come visit and see how wonderful it is! Shopping and restaurants! More importantly, shopping! We will vacate our little apt. at the end of April and plan to move in around the first of May. We are SO excited! Please plan to come visit us. You must be ok with a)sharing a bedroom with Baby Mason and b) taking care of all the middle of the night feedings.

13 Weeks!

Last week of my first trimester!~
We received all of our blood work and test results back from our NT scan and baby Mason is normal! (Well, as normal as a baby of ours can be.) I am still really tired this week and mostly crave my warm bed. We have finally been able to tell everyone and that has been really fun. We told Reg's grandparents this weekend and they were thrilled! Pop said "now I know what you all have been doing!" None of my clothes fit or least fit well and I feel generally blah.
Is it October yet?

12 Weeks!

Whew! We had our 12 week appt. yesterday and baby Mason is growing fast! He/she is measuring about almost 13 weeks! I hope I don't have an "O'Hara from CO baby! (almost 12 pounders.) We got to hear the heartbeat and it's fast and strong!

How far along? 11.5 weeks
Weight gain/loss:2.5 lbs
Maternity clothes? First pair! Jeans from Kohl's. I plan on wearing them even when I am not pregnant
Stretch marks? Not yet
Sleep? Yes please
Best moment this week? Getting maternity jeans
Movement: No
Food cravings: Chips, pickles (cliche', but true), mashed potatoes, and my mother's cooking
Gender: I am hoping for either a boy or a girl

What I miss? Ham sandwich

First Comes Marriage Then Comes...

To start off this blog… we're pregnant! We found out on January 28th, 2010. I had a feeling on January 27th but I couldn't test on an odd day! Don't be nuts. So far, things have been going well, I've been very tired, headachy, feeling a little bit sick but have not actually GOTTEN sick yet! Whoopee! Ever since February, I have been so bloated that none of my clothes fit. Someone at work actually asked me if I was with child when I was around 6 weeks! (A man, of course, because women know better than to ask anyone that.) I denied like the river in Egypt. At this point, we have only told our parents and plan to tell everyone else right after our appt. at 12 weeks (Monday, March 22nd). Stay tuned to this new adventure!
